To the editor:

I would like to express my appreciation for Lindy Ellis, who is so deeply involved in the community. On hearing of a problem, she immediately sets to work on solving it, as noted with her attention to insuring there is a visible crosswalk near the youth center in Saranac Lake or contacting folks to address the lack of state funding for extreme winter conditions. She has helped move forward a number of projects such as the successful Saranac Lake SkatePark. With experience as a director of engineering at Corning Inc. and her local work with the Franklin County Industrial Development Agency, Parks and Trails Advisory Board, and Healthy Infrastructure Advisory Board, Lindy has the experience we need in a Franklin County legislator. Please vote for her on Election Day.
