To the editor:

I support Leo Demong and Dick Jarvis, Democratic candidates for the two positions open for town of Franklin councilmen in this November’s election. The skills they have acquired through working for the state will help them to serve us well at the local level and enable them to “work across the board” on the issues that face our town. Having been longtime residents of the town of Franklin, I believe they will be committed to work in our best interest and represent us fairly. Both candidates have the time, energy and interest to continue to move our town forward.

I urge everyone to get out and vote, keeping in mind what a privilege it is to have this right.
