To the editor:

I am writing to share why I believe it’s important to vote for Lindy Ellis for Franklin County legislator.

I first met Lindy about four years ago during our time serving together on the Saranac Lake skatepark construction committee. Lindy worked tirelessly on fundraising and awareness efforts towards what amounted to a great need for the youth of Saranac Lake and surrounding areas.

The skatepark is simply one example showcasing the many skills and talents Lindy has to offer our community; Lindy is reliable, thorough, hard-working and committed to any goal she sets her mind on. I believe her priorities are aligned with what the towns of Franklin and Harrietstown truly need, which is why I am voting for Lindy Ellis for Franklin County legislator on Nov. 6.
