L.P. Quinn helps hospice

To the editor and hospice supporters:

On Tuesday, June 5, High Peaks Hospice held its 26th annual Radio Day. We’d like to thank the principal, Dr. Michele Pinard, and staff of L.P. Quinn Elementary School for hosting our event this year. Special thanks to the outstanding teachers and students who fundraised an amazing $8,000 to support hospice care in our communities. Kudos also to our volunteers Jerrie Walsh, Kathy Cavallaro, Sue McGowan, Nancy Warner and Marilyn Bigelow, who counted money or answered telephones. We couldn’t have done without Ted Merrihew and Gib Brown who have acted as hosts for this event for the past four years. Lastly, thank you to our donors. It is the generosity of so many of our community members that allows us provide compassionate end of life care in the North Country.

With sincere gratitude,

Marie VanNortwick and the team at High Peaks Hospice
