To the editor:

The start of 2018 is also the start of my service to the residents of Harrietstown, and I want to take this opportunity to say thank you for your vote of confidence at the polls this past November. I promise to be thoughtful and thorough and make decisions based on facts, not rhetoric. I hope to have people feel like they’ve been heard by the board member they elected and will do my best to listen intently to their complaints, concerns and ideas. Whether I agree or disagree, you will have my full attention because it’s respectful to do so.

For 31 years I’ve called Saranac Lake (Harrietstown) home, and I look forward to representing all residents. Again, thank you for your support and your vote.
