To the editor:

On behalf of the Harrietstown Town Board, we congratulate your senior reporter Chris Knight as he leaves the Enterprise for the position of director of communications for North Country Community College.

However, we do regret, as you expressed in your editorial, to lose the talent that Chris brought to the job.

In covering the business of the town of Harrietstown over the years, he was always accurate and fair in his reporting. Because of his hectic schedule and having a young family, he could not always attend our board meetings, but he would call the office after our meetings to get the story and then call to “fact check” if there was some piece he needed to verify.

So good luck, Chris. We are going to miss you. Hurrah for NCCC!
