First Night recognition
To the editor:
Nancy LaBombard’s name was omitted from the list of First Night Board of Directors that appeared in the 2016 First Night program and website. Nancy is one of the founding members of First Night Saranac Lake. For the past 10 years, Nancy has worked tirelessly in seeking performers, following up with contracts, scheduling and publicity, a process which starts each year in March. She, along with Connie Landon, has been an integral part in bringing outstanding talent to the past 10 New Year’s Eve events. Also, Nancy has served as treasurer for nine years.
