To the editor:

Christmas magic was definitely in the air at the high school Winter Concert Monday night, thanks to the artistic direction of choir director Drew Benware and band director Keith Kogut, and all the students and musicians who participated, especially Elaine Dewar, violinist, Esther Rogers, cellist, Lynn Waickman, recorder, and Tom Delahant, pianist. This concert was beautifully orchestrated, and the talent displayed by the choirs, jazz ensemble and concert band was exceptional. Thanks to everyone’s hard work and dedication, it was a very magical evening right up until the grand finale, when everyone, both students and alumni, took to the stage to sing everyone a very heartfelt “Hallelujah.” This truly captured the spirit of Christmas. We are so fortunate to live in a community with such outstanding talent.
