To the editor:

Please, please, please send Joyce Mitchell (“Tillie”) home with an ankle bracelet. After all, her husband is willing to support her, and she will be there for the grandchildren. Rule that she cannot step foot off this property except to attend church. If they have a social gathering there, she can participate for the required two-and-a-third years. I’m sure there are many who disagree with me, but unlike those greedy millionaires several years ago who ruined thousands of lives and their retirement funds, she can be useful at home.

In addition, I understand that this superintendent at the time did not like what was happening and requested a 24-hour shutdown of the whole facility and was turned down by Albany because it was too expensive. And this could have been prevented.
