Garcia treats people with respect

To the editor:

I am writing this letter to show my support for Julie Garcia as she campaigns for Supreme Court justice in the Fourth Judicial District. I genuinely feel that Julie is highly qualified and deserves to be elected to this most important position. Not only have I known Julie for over 30 years, but I have worked for her for the last five years. I have observed her dedication to her job and her clients. I have witnessed her determination to make sure she has done everything possible for the best outcome of each and every client. Never discriminating, a millionaire or someone less fortunate, she treats everyone with respect and dignity. You would be hard pressed to find anyone that would say otherwise.

Julie served as Essex County’s first female district attorney and now maintains her own private practice. She has served as assistant district attorney in Rensselaer and Suffolk counties. She worked hard, putting herself through college, graduating from both Siena and Albany Law School. Everything she has accomplished is due to her hard work, desire to make a difference and eagerness to always further herself and others.

There are 13 male and just two female Supreme Court judges in the Fourth Judicial District. I believe Julie is the perfect candidate to be seated as a third female justice. She is honest, educated, fair, dedicated, companionate and knowledgeable. I know that if elected, Julie would be 100-percent committed to the position and to serving the people in the district. I am someone who has seen, day in and day out, her integrity, principles and commitment to justice, and I admire her for everything she has done and continues to do.

Vote for Julie Garcia, one of the most well read and sincerest people I know, on Nov. 3.
