To the editor:

Many of us know Craig Carriero not just as candidate for Franklin County district attorney but as a friend and volunteer coach for his sons’ baseball, football and hockey teams. As a youth coach, Craig volunteers his time to teach children fundamentals of the game while also making it fun for the children. Craig is a good, honest, hard-working coach and father who is dedicated to his family and his community. In addition to these traits, his decade-long experience as a prosecutor in the district attorney’s office would make him a strong and effective district attorney. In fact, his prosecutorial experience has earned his the endorsement of the Malone Village Police Benevolent Association.

Coaching young people takes patience, but helping keep our communities safe takes hard work and dedication. Craig has demonstrated he can do both. On Thursday, Sept. 10, I strongly urge Franklin County Democrats to cast their vote for Craig Carriero to be the next Franklin County district attorney. He’s got my vote.
