To the editor:

The Saranac Lake High School graduating class of 1985 is looking for its classmates to return home for our 30th class reunion.

We plan on having an informal gathering on Friday, Sept. 11 at 6 p.m. at the Downhill Grill. Saturday festivities feature a family picnic at Fish Creek Campground from noon to 3 p.m. and then taking over Romano’s on Saturday night. Former classmate John Lefevere is bringing the rest of his Legends band for some dancing from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.

We’re hoping for a great turnout from the Class of ’85 and would love to see the smiling faces of classmates from other years as well.

We have created a Facebook page called “Saranac Lake Class of 1985.” This is a great resource to touch base with old friends and get updated information about the gatherings. If you are a member, know a member, are related to a member, are friends with a member … please spread the word!
