Looking for that dream job? Come to Tri-Lakes Job Fair

The economy is changing, and we need to adapt with it. In the 1970s there was high unemployment, and seasonal work was the norm. Today, however, we have had four years with the lowest unemployment in decades. It is now the best time to find your dream job, with all the aspects you are seeking.

If your appearance is presentable, you speak politely and you have a resume, then you need to do only two more things: Find a promising job opening, and get a face-to-face meeting with the person hiring. Next Wednesday, March 6 is the opportunity for you to come and browse through hundreds of positions and speak with those representing a career you are interested in. The Adirondack Daily Enterprise is holding its fourth annual Tri-Lakes Job Fair from noon to 4 p.m. at North Country Community College’s Sparks Athletic Complex, in the back of the college’s main campus.

Don’t have a resume? No worries, Saranac Lake Rotary Club members will be on hand to help you with that and to coach you so you have confidence to go on an interview.

Don’t have the time? This could be the life-changing opportunity to a very successful future. So mark your calendar now, and schedule time to come down on your lunch break.

Many smart employers will be at the Job Fair and are looking for candidates who can take pride in their work. You’d be surprised by the compensation packages they are offering: great wages (some with sign-on bonuses), benefits, flexible work environments and more to attract the very best.

Whether you are working, retired, in school or need a change, don’t miss coming to the largest job fair in the Tri-Lakes area. More than 50 employers are offering many positions that should pique your interest.

If you aren’t looking for a new job for yourself, then encourage your friends, family members or co-workers to come down to the NCCC gym on Wednesday and check it out.
