This postcard showing the Robert Louis Stevenson Cottage in the fall was mailed exactly 100 years ago last week! The card was postmarked Trudeau, NY, and was likely sent by a patient curing at Trudeau Sanatorium. HSL’s postcard collection is full of messages sent by patients to friends and family members back home, and tell us a lot about what it was like to be a patient.
