Grandfather to happy and joyful Jackson; father to the beautiful, lovely and charming Hailee, Kaylynn, Mya and Olivia; son to Kenneth and Betsy; brother to Rob (Paula) Vaughn, Brenda (Troy) Garver, Benjamin (Amanda) and Matthew; uncle to Sarah (Jim) Saeed, Joseph and Emily … Eric will be greatly missed forever by all.

Eric loved to fish and had tried many various forms of it over the years. His newest adventure was going to be fishing for garbage in the Niagara River, with a magnet! Ever into foolery, he was usually up to something entertaining. The quarter glued to the mall floor, the purse on the end of a fishing pole in the middle of the road, he gave us many side-splitting laughs over the years! His love of B-movies must also be mentioned. How many hours he tried to waste of ours watching some of the stinkiest, low-budgeted movies ever to be created.

Eric’s final gift to the world was to be an organ donor. Gone too soon and never to be forgotten, as he joins his relatives and his friends that have gone before him to Heaven, we will patiently wait to see them when our time comes.

Services were held privately for immediate family. Donations in Eric’s memory can be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
