Darlene V. Wood
Darlene Viola Wood, 69, of Tupper Lake, died Tuesday, July 9, 2019, at Adirondack Medical Center in Saranac Lake, surrounded by her family.
Born June 30, 1950, in Riverview, she was the daughter of Clayton and Dorothy Wood.
Darlene was an avid bingo player and will be greatly missed by all.
She is survived by one son, Keith Lee Gadway and his companion Amanda Frary of Peru, New York; two grandchildren: Dennis Gadway of Tupper Lake and Adam Gadway of Peru, New York; three sisters: Rachel Snow and her husband Robert of Randolph, Massachusetts, Tina Wood and her companion James Theriault of Saranac Lake, and Pamela Denis and her husband Henry of Tupper Lake; four brothers: Rocky Wood of Redford, Barry Wood and his wife Beverly of Beekmantown, Barton Wood and his companion Betty Disotell of Plattsburgh, Danny Wood and his wife Carla of Piercefield; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents Clayton and Dorothy Wood; five brothers: Ned, Ted, Randy, Leo and Steve; and two sisters: Beverly Bombard and Cindy Sorrell.
Calling hours will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday, July 13, at the Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad St., Plattsburgh.
