Steven G. Reid
Steven G. Reid, 58, of Wes Valley Road, Lake Placid, died unexpectedly at UVM Medical Center in Burlington, Vermont on March 3, 2019.
Steve was born on Feb. 2, 1961 in Star Lake to Edwin Reid and Irene Kennelly. Steve graduated from SUNY Plattsburgh in 1986 with a degree in business management.
Steve married Lisa Vespa, his Villa Vespa sweetheart on April 21, 1990. After moving to Massena, Steve began working for S.S Pierce.
Steve was a member of the foodservice sales force for over 30 years, his most recent employment being with U.S Foods.
Steve is survived by his wife Lisa and his sons Timothy, Nicholas and Connorr; and his two sisters: Maggie Little and Elizabeth Koch.
He is preceded in death by his mother Irene Kennelly and father Edwin Reid; his brothers Edward, Ken and Bob; and his sister Beatrice.
Calling Hours will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 12, at M. B. Clark lnc. Funeral Home in Lake Placid. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 13, at St. Agnes Catholic Church. Father John R Yonkovig will officiate. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Steve’s life.
In lieu of flowers, we are asking for donations to local animal shelters or the Lake Placid Outing Club.
