Wayne Joseph Pryce left this earth and went to be with his mother Sheila in Heaven on Sunday, June 10, 2018.

Wayne was born to Allen Pryce Sr. and Sheila (Martin) Pryce.

Wayne was well-known in the Tri-Lakes area through his various jobs with Rick’s Taxi, North Star Industries and as a cook in several local restaurants. He loved watching the New York Giants play on Sundays in the Fall and faithfully followed the New York Yankees through the spring and summer.

Survivors include his father Allen Pryce; step-mother Mary Pryce; his wife Jodie (Borden) Pryce; step-daughters Cassandra, and Blake; sister Cheryl Dodd; brother Allen Pryce Jr.; special nephew Devon Pryce; father-in-law Barry Borden; sister-in-laws Tanya, Beth (husband Tres); and brothers-in-law Jason and Barry. Wayne was a “very special” uncle to his nieces and nephews who loved him dearly, along with several aunts and uncles. Also mourning his passing are two “special brothers” James and his wife Alyissa and Donovan and his wife Erin. His special dog Angel will miss him dearly.

He was preceded by his mother and step-father Joseph Costa and his grandfather Raymond Pryce.

Calling hours will be held from 4 to 7 tonight at the M.B. Clark Inc. Funeral Home in Lake Placid. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 13 at St. Agnes Church in Lake Placid. Burial will follow in North Elba Cemetery in Lake Placid.

Wayne loved his pets so much, so if you would like to make a donation to your local humane society in Wayne’s name, he would love that.
