Vicki (Saumier) McCormack
Vicki (Saumier) McCormack, 67, passed away peacefully on Sunday, Nov. 16, 2014, at the Center for Hope Hospice in Scotch Plains, New Jersey after living in Fanwood, New York since 1983.
Born March 7, 1947, in Saranac Lake, she was the oldest daughter of the late F. Victor and Margaret Shackett Saumier.
Vicki worked as the secretary to the Assistant Principal at Scotch Plains-Fanwood High School for 30 years.
Vicki is survived by her daughter Rene McCormack of Spring Hill, Florida, granddaughter Alyssa Vermeire of Spring Hill, Florida., two sisters: Mary Bishop of Yuba City, California and Joan Tyrell of Taberg and was predeceased by a sister Susan Darrah. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 19 at the Memorial Funeral Home, 155 South Ave., Fanwood, New York. Cremation will be held this coming summer in Saranac Lake at the family’s convenience.
