Francis M. Mullin

He was born in Massena on May 19, 1921, but he grew up in Saranac Lake. He graduated from St. Bernard’s Elementary School, Saranac Lake High School and attended Wadhams Hall Seminary, St. Michael’s College in Vermont and Catholic University.

He was a veteran, having served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He went on to live and work in Washington, D.C.

He is survived by several nieces and nephews, including Kathryn Mullin Best of Saranac Lake, Barbara Mullin Dodds of Durango, Colorado and Michael Mullin of Schenectady.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph P. and Anna E. (Foley), a brother, John J. Mullin, and a sister, Patricia (Mullin) Trotter.

Francis had many fond memories of Saranac Lake, and at his request, his remains will be returned to Saranac Lake.
