What’s on tap for Lake Placid Sinfonietta

The Lake Placid Sinfonietta performs in the Wild Center’s Great Hall.

Peter Rubardt will conduct the program including movements from Beethoven’s “Symphony No. 8” and works featuring flutist Anne Harrow (Bach’s “Air from Suite No. 3”) and Daniel Szasz (Vivaldi’s “Summer” from “The Four Seasons.”

Tickets are available through The Wild Center and are priced at $20 for adults, $17 for museum members, with ages 4-14 free.

A pre-concert dinner is available with reservations.

Sunday, Aug. 4, 7:30 p.m. ‘Beethoven, Barber & Friends’

The Lake Placid Sinfonietta presents “Beethoven, Barber and Friends” at the Lake Placid Center for the Arts, Peter Rubardt conducting.

Soprano Halley Gilbert returns to the Lake Placid stage in the beloved “Knoxville, Summer 1915” complemented by Beethoven’s “Symphony No. 8” and works by Copland and Wagner.
