Saranac Village at Will Rogers hosts book reading, signing

SARANAC LAKE –Author Bernard Moran, a summer resident of Saranac Village at Will Rogers, will hold a book signing of his latest collection of short stories, “Love and Treachery in Palm Beach 3” at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 17 at Will Rogers. Bernard will also speak about ways to get a book published.

From his first visit to Palm Beach in 1953, with his father for spring break, Bernard has been enamored with this lush, tropical destination. Memories for Bernard include sun, sand and surf, delicious food, polo, Hollywood stars, tennis, a Kennedy and a feeling of “heaven on earth.” His memories of the glitz and glamor of Palm Beach reveal the true natures of residents of this island paradise in his books that delve into cheating husbands, vindictive wives, bankers, brokers, realtors, lawyers, schemers and scammers.

This program is free and open to the public and books will be sold for $15 each.
