‘Mary Poppins Jr.’ opens Friday at Pendragon

SARANAC LAKE – Camp Pendragon presents Disney and Cameron Mackintosh’s “Mary Poppins Jr.,” the tale of family and friendship, opening this Friday, July 19 and running through July 28.

This classic musical features dance, song and puppetry and is perfect entertainment for all ages. Audiences will journey to the Banks’ home in London and hear memorable songs like “A Spoonful of Sugar” and “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious.”

The cast features Jameson Batt, Eleanor Crowley, Paige Curtis, Sarah Dalton, Reagan Fritts, River Gray, Max Hall, Sage Kite Whidden, Joseph Larabie, Marley Levenson, Olivia Marocco, Lindsey McCreadie, Morgan Olsen, Andrew Scanio, Annie Smith, Logan Sutton, Elizabeth White and Malea White.

Camp Pendragon is an intensive, month-long theatre workshop for students entering 8th grade through graduated high school seniors. Campers experience the work involved to produce a professional musical from start to finish under the direction of Matt Sorensen, Elizabeth Cordes and choreographer, Terpsie Toon.

“Mary Poppins Jr.” opens Friday, June 19 at 8 p.m. and continues July 20 at 11 a.m. and 7 p.m., July 26 and 27 at 7 p.m., and July 21, 24, 25 and 28 at 2 p.m.
