Lake Placid Institute’s Chamber Music Seminar to perform at KV church
KEENE VALLEY – The East Branch Friends of the Arts welcomes for the first time the faculty of Lake Placid Institute’s Chamber Music Seminar to our summer stage at 8 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 19.
The Lake Placid Institute sponsors a one-week opportunity for adult string players and pianists to play and study great chamber music in the Adirondack Park. Faculty and seminar participants hail from all corners of the country. Conducted by Linda Rosenthal, artistic director, faculty members will perform a variety of classical compositions.
A reception with refreshments will follow.
The suggested donation is $10 per person; students are free.
