‘Love Letters’ at Will Rogers Saturday

SARANAC LAKE — Jordan Hornstein and Elaine Coddington Lamporte will perform the play, “Love Letters,” at 7 p.m. Saturday at Saranac Village at Will Rogers.

Comprised of letters exchanged over a lifetime between two people who grew up together but went their separate ways, the characters continue to share confidences with each other.

Hornstein has been involved in theatre for more than 50 years as a student, teacher, actor and director.  He has acted frequently with Pendragon Theatre, and he has directed for Pendragon, Adirondack Lakes Center for the Arts, Our Town Theatre Group and the Bearfoot Players.  He lives in Long Lake with his wife, Jacqueline and their cats Willie and Gracie.

Coddington Lamporte has been in several plays with the Bearfoot Players of Long Lake including a female version of “The Odd Couple,” “Fools,” “Painting Churches,” “Little Old Ladies in Tennis Shoes” and “Pride and Prejudice.” She has also performed with Adirondack Lakes Center for the Arts in Almost Maine and Kimberly Akimbo and with Our Town Theatre Group in The Curious Savage and Arsenic and Old Lace. She lives in Long Lake with her husband, Rich.

There is a $5 suggested donation.
