SARANAC LAKE – On Friday, Aug. 5, Art at the Pink House will open a juried exhibition of fiber and mixed media artwork.

Area artists working in these mediums were invited to bring one or two pieces of art to be juried by Rochester artist Pat Pauly.

At 6 p.m., cash prizes will be awarded to the winners in three categories, and a People’s Choice Award will be announced at the opening of the next exhibit on Sept. 2, based on votes collected the entire month of the Juried Show exhibit.

The opening of the exhibit will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 5 at Art at the Pink House, 25 Woodruff St.

The exhibit is free and open to the public.
