BLOOMINGDALE — The Bloomingdale Over 55 Club resumes its summer schedule and will meet for a potluck meal on Friday, May 13.

The meal is scheduled for at 5 p.m. in the Community Room at Overlook Senior Apartments in Bloomingdale. New and former members are welcome. Membership is open to any past, present, or future resident of St. Armand or anyone with a connection to someone in the town of St. Armand.

At the May meeting, those present will be discussing what activities they are interested in doing this summer. So far this spring, the club has celebrated St. Patrick’s Day at the Shamrock, dined at the King’s Wok in Malone and gone to the Akwesasne Mohawk Casino. The club is looking into having a summer picnic and a boat tour of an area lake, perhaps with fishing as an option. In previous years, members have also gone on trips to the Pendragon Theatre, Lake Placid Center for the Arts, various boat tours of local and regional lakes, local harvest festivals, Lentin fish fries, card parties and more.
