The Wilkins Agency, owned by Carla Navarra and Lori Dramm, was named Business of the Year by the Saranac Lake Chamber of Commerce at the chamber’s annual dinner last week. Diane Leifheit, who served for six years on the chamber’s board of directors, was named Volunteer of the Year. Local businessowner Tom Hyde was named Citizen of the Year. Dorothy Fobare, who was a founding member of Historic Saranac Lake, member of the North Country Community College Foundation and frequent volunteer to many local organizations, was honored posthumously for her dedication to the community.
