RAY BROOK — The New York State Adirondack Park Agency will hold its monthly meeting on Thursday, July 15. In accordance with new health and safety guidelines, the board will meet in-person.

On Thursday at noon, the full agency will convene for Executive Director Terry Martino’s monthly report.

At 12:15 p.m., the Regulatory Programs Committee will consider authorizing a permit to Parkview Development for the construction of a multi-use building in the village of Saranac Lake that would include professional office space and six residential units. In addition, the proposal includes the construction of a four-story residential building containing 63 residential units. The project includes on-site parking with vehicle and pedestrian access to Broadway and Depot Street. The development would be served by municipal water and wastewater infrastructure. The project site is in the town of Harrietstown, Franklin County.

The Committee will also consider a proposal from the Homestead Development Corporation for a proposed residential project just outside the village boundary in Lake Placid. The applicant has requested approval for the construction of six, two-bedroom, single family dwellings and four multiple-family dwellings. The multi-family dwellings would include four, two-bedroom units each. The development would be served by municipal water, wastewater, and electrical infrastructure. The project site is located off Wesvalley Road in the town of North Elba, Essex County.

At 2 p.m., the agency will convene to take any necessary actions and hear member and Local Government Review Board comment.

At 3 p.m., the Enforcement Committee will come to order to hear a proceeding regarding an alleged violation of the agency’s shoreline setback requirements. The alleged violation occurred in the town of Long Lake, Hamilton County.
