Franklin County continued to see a rise in COVID-19 over the weekend, with 58 individuals currently identified as having active cases.

Some of these people are isolating outside of the county.

There were 12 new positives on Saturday and four new ones on Sunday. The total number of cases stayed the same, however, because some cases were resolved on that day, with those people considered recovered and removed from the list of active cases.

To date, the county has seen 291 cases of of COVID-19 and two deaths, both this past week.

Franklin Correctional Facility, another state prison in Malone has one inmate in quarantine.
