LAKE PLACID — Village police continue to investigate a death at a residence and office building on Sentinel Road Tuesday and said they couldn’t release new information about it Wednesday.

Village police said they responded to 6018 Sentinel Road at 9:26 a.m. Tuesday for a report of an unattended death. The High Peaks Optimal Health chiropractic office, run by chiropractors Joseph and Rhiannon Clauss, is located there. New York State Police and Essex County Coroner Jay Heald, of Elizabethtown, also responded to the scene, but they did not answer questions because Lake Placid police are the lead agency investigating the case.
