SARANAC LAKE — This village’s Department of Public Works will conduct its annual flush of fire hydrants next Tuesday through Thursday or Friday, Nov. 3 to 7.

Residents should expect low water pressure as well as discolored water for a short period of time. Residents may have to run their water until it becomes clear. DPW Superintendent Dustin Martin said if it does not clear up after 15 minutes of running the tap, call his office at 518-891-4160.

The DPW plans to flush hydrants in the Park Avenue neighborhood Nov. 3, the French Hill neighborhood Nov. 4, the Lake Flower Avenue and River Street areas Nov. 5, and possibly a fourth day, if needed.
