Tupper Lake library has online story hours

TUPPER LAKE — With traditional children’s story and craft sessions canceled due to COVID-19, the Goff-Nelson Memorial Library has gone virtual with two of its longstanding popular programs.

At 10 a.m. on Fridays, the Kiwanis Summer Reading Program appears on the library’s YouTube channel, with videos of story reading and a related craft.

On Saturdays at 11 a.m., the library’s Story Hour appears as a live video on the library Facebook page, with songs and stories followed by a craft. Kits of supplies needed for the Saturday craft are available in the library vestibule beginning Wednesday.

Past weeks’ editions of both programs remain available for viewing anytime.

For more information on all library programs, see the library’s extensively revamped website at tupperlakepubliclibrary.org, or call 518-359-9421.
