Rosy maple moths, like this one seen Thursday in Bloomingdale, do not have mouths and cannot eat. Their only mission as adults is to mate. Unfortunately, this one got distracted by a lamp Wednesday night and got stuck inside. The next morning it was found stuck to the basin of a bathroom sink, where it had gotten its wings wet, rendering it flightless. With the help of a stick, the moth was brought back outside, where after a couple of minutes sitting in the dry breeze, it took off to find a mate.
