St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Saranac Lake asks people to “shine a light on justice.” Beginning Monday at 9 p.m., and every evening in June, the church asks people to illuminate a candle, porch light or flashlight and pause for a moment to remember George Floyd, an unarmed black man who died while a Minneapolis police officer kneeled on his neck for 8 minutes and 46 seconds.
