SARANAC LAKE — The village Department of Public Works asks people to move vehicles out of three municipal parking lots Thursday and Friday morning so the DPW can sweep the pavement.

The DPW will temporarily close the Pontiac lot on Berkeley hill, Broadway, on Thursday morning. On Friday morning it will close and the lot off Dorsey Street beside the Saranac River as well as the lot beside the skateboard park. Crews will begin sweeping at 4 a.m.

The DPW asks that all vehicles be removed by 2 a.m. to avoid being towed at the owner’s expense.
