‘Quarantination’ contest: planters and wind chimes

SARANAC LAKE — Each week, the staff of Say Real Estate organizes a community project contest through Facebook to keep people busy and positive amid the COVID-19 quarantine. Two weeks ago it was snowmen, last week birdhouses. This week it was planters and wind chimes.

After last week’s contest the judges polled participants on what the next challenge should be. Responders split between planters and wind chimes, so they did both, with prizes in each category. The first place winner in each group won a $100 gift certificate to any local business, and other winners each received a $50 gift certificate to any local business. The prizes were sponsored by local businesses and individuals.
