SARANAC LAKE — The Adirondack Center for Writing is bringing PoemVillage to Saranac Lake for the fifth year in a row.

PoemVillage is an explosion of locally written poetry that fills the windows of downtown Saranac Lake, creating a corridor of poetry. Miniatures of each poem are also tucked into every corner of the town for all to find.

PoemVillage is fueled by poems from the people who call the Adirondack region home and relies on community members’ submissions of original poetry. ACW is calling on all community members to send in their poems. The deadline is April 1

Submissions are limited to three poems per person, are to be submitted online, and are expected to be edited before submission. Please refrain from submitting a poem already printed in PoemVillage last year. Classes and students are especially encouraged to submit poems.

Find a new favorite and visit your poems from April 20 to May 10. Visit adirondackcenterforwriting.org/poemvillage or contact Baylee at info@adirondackcenterforwriting.org for more information about PoemVillage.
