People plan vigil against detention centers set for July 12
SARANAC LAKE — A Lights for Liberty Vigil is scheduled for Friday, July 12 from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. at Riverside Park to call for ending human detention camps.
Those attending are encouraged to bring signs along with candles and/or flashlights for a moment of silence at 9 p.m.
The local organizers are Jennifer Chasalow VanBenschoten, Gail Brill and Joy Cranker.
