After Five Brass to perform Sunday at Island Chapel
UPPER SARANAC LAKE – On Sunday, July 7, the After Five Brass Quintet will perform at the 11 a.m. service at Island Chapel on Upper Saranac Lake.
Boat transportation will be provided at Indian Carry Landing beginning at 10:15 a.m.
Formed in 1989, After Five Brass is the earliest established Brass Quintet. With an intent to entertain, they perform classical, jazz, Broadway, and pop for specific audiences. The members of the
group include Jeanette Woodruff, Trumpet; Penny Wiese, Trumpet; Frank Langr, French Horn; Jim McCarthy, Trombone. Erik Woodruff, Trombone, substitutes for today’s performance; and Steve Woodruff; Tuba.
