Man suffers head injury in Saranac Lake bike crash
SARANAC LAKE — An unidentified male crashed while cycling in the village Wednesday just after 2 p.m.
Saranac Lake village police Officer Evan Connors was walking outside when he noticed lying in Main Street a man who had fallen off of his bike. Police say that the man had been cycling down the hill that leads to Petrova Elementary School when he hit the curb and fell off of his bike.
The man was bleeding from his head and so the police called for the Saranac Lake Volunteer Rescue Squad to bring him to the hospital. The injuries were non-life threatening.
