SARANAC LAKE — The Saranac Lake Central School District, in collaboration with the Saranac Lake Teachers Association, is seeking nominations for its Distinguished Alumni-Alumnae Award.

This award honors graduates who have translated their Saranac Lake Central School experience into distinguished achievements, notable accomplishments and outstanding service in their local communities and beyond.

To be nominated, an individual may be living or deceased, a graduate of Saranac Lake High School or St. Pius X High School, and must have graduated at least 10 years prior to the date of the presentation (fall 2019).

Nominees for the Saranac Lake Central School Distinguished Alumni/Alumnae may be drawn from former students with backgrounds in areas such as science, medicine, public service, philanthropy, military, theology, performing arts, technology, business, education, government, law, communications, humanitarianism and fine arts.

Applications for the 2019 award are due June 7 and are available at the Saranac Lake Central School District office, and also posted at www.slcs.org.
