Plenty to share

Carmine Salvo finishes putting a can of corn into a cardboard box Monday morning at the Lake Placid Ecumenical Food Pantry in the basement of the St. Agnes Catholic Church. He and a group of volunteers put together bags and boxes of food for the annual Thanksgiving meal drive, ensuring that families that need a little extra help this holiday have a full Thanksgiving dinner. Warm clothing was also free. Food pantry coordinator Linda Young said they were serving about 300 families this year. The meal included a turkey, pie, loaf of bread, box of stuffing mix, and cans of cranberry sauce, peaches, turkey gravy, green beans and corn. (Enterprise photo — Andy Flynn)
