LAKE PLACID — The Adirondack North Country Global Sports Committee will hold a open meeting detailing Lake Placid’s bid for hosting the 2023 Winter World University Games Monday Nov. 20 at 4 p.m. in the North Elba Room in the Conference Center at Lake Placid at 2608 Main St.

The meeting will give a synopsis of the games while also highlighting its impact on Lake Placid’s community and businesses. The 2019 Winter International Children’s Games, which Lake Placid has already secured, will also be addressed.
