SARANAC LAKE – Adirondack Health is partnering with Franklin County Office for the Aging to provide seniors with coupons for fresh fruits and vegetables from local farmers markets.

The coupons are available through a program sponsored by New York state, and provides eligible seniors with a booklet with $20 worth of coupons redeemable for fresh fruit and vegetables at local farmers markets. There is no formal application process.

A representative from the county Office for the Aging will be in the main lobby at Adirondack Medical Center from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, July 27 and Wednesday, Aug. 3 to hand out the coupons.
