Flaming Leaves Festival this weekend
LAKE PLACID – The Flaming Leaves Festival is an annual two-day celebration of fall at the Olympic Jumping Complex.
North America’s top ski jumpers compete, soaring through the air while on the ground below blues bands play and barbecue chefs grill up ribs and burgers.
There will be various lawns games, a horseshoe tournament, craft vendors and the chance to make your own tie-dye T-shirt (bring your own or buy one there).
Attendees will also get a chance to take a trip to the top of the 120-meter ski jump. A chairlift and elevator combine to get people there to witness the fall foliage.
