SARANAC LAKE — North Woods Engineering has announced the addition of Kayla Gagnon as a junior engineer.

Kayla holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Clarkson University, and a bachelor’s degree in physics from SUNY Plattsburgh.

Her duties at North Woods include civil and structural engineering and design, technical report preparation, and project management for commercial, residential and municipal clients.

A native of Port Henry, Gagnon recently worked for a major aircraft manufacturer conducting structural engineering where she received company awards for her work, and was part of a team that obtained a patent.

Based in Saranac Lake, North Woods Engineering provides civil and structural engineering services including water system, sanitary, structural, foundation, and transportation design.

The firm additionally provides planning, design review, environmental permitting, and construction inspection services.
