Community Bank N.A. promotes Brenda Darrah to district manager

Community Bank N.A. has announced that Brenda Darrah has been promoted to district manager, overseeing seven branches in the Adirondack region.

In her new role, Darrah will be responsible for the administration and operation of managing full-service branches within her district, including operations, business development, loan and deposit growth, and financial services management. She will also be responsible for the training, development and supervision of branch managers within the respective district. Darrah will continue to manage both Community Bank N.A. branches in Saranac Lake.

“We are thrilled to recognize Brenda for all of her hard work and contributions to Community Bank over the past eight years,” said Kent Backus, Community Bank N.A. regional manager. “Brenda is tremendously talented and brings more than 26 years of experience in the banking industry to the position. We are excited to see her continue to advance her career at Community Bank.”

Darrah began her banking career in 1989 with Key Bank as a teller and joined Community Bank N.A. in 2008. Throughout her years in the industry, she has held a wide variety of positions within banks, giving her a wealth of knowledge and experience.

\Outside of the office, Darrah is active in the community as a member of both the American Legion Auxiliary and the Bloomingdale volunteer fire department auxiliary. She is a graduate of Saranac Central School District and resides in Bloomingdale with her husband, Wayne, and son, Patrick.
