Here comes Santa Claus

Levi Huff, 3, takes in the scenery Friday night as Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus parade down Broadway, led by the Saranac Lake Volunteer Fire Department. Children across Saranac Lake stood on porches, sidewalks and anything they could climb on top of to wave as the Christmas couple got a firetruck ride around town, drawn by eight dalmatians. Levi and Lucca Bey, also 3, ran down the sidewalk. chasing Kris Kringle once he passed, with their parents jogging behind. (Enterprise photo — Aaron Cerbone)
Levi Huff, 3, waves to Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus — Jerry and Alice Jesmer — as they ride through Saranac Lake on Friday night. It was a chilly 18 degrees out but Santa said, “The cold is no matter.” Santa said he spends time here in the North Country, so he’s used to the cold. (Enterprise photo — Aaron Cerbone)
From left, Peyton Smith, 8, Brittany Krasher and Noah Krasher, 4, wave to Santa and Mrs. Claus as they pass by on Broadway in Saranac Lake on Friday. “Hi Santa!” they shouted. And then, Noah shouted, “Hi dad!” His father Garrett Krasher, a member of the Saranac Lake Volunteer Fire Department, was waving out the window of a truck following Santa. Noah thought it was pretty cool his dad was part of Kris Kringle’s entourage. (Enterprise photo — Aaron Cerbone)
