Former Saranac Laker earns 17th college degree
JERSEY CITY, N.J — On May 20, Joseph M. Segriff graduated from Hudson County Community College in Jersey City, New Jersey with an Associate of Arts in history — his 17th college degree.
He graduated with high honors, earning a Summa Cum Laude academic distinction.
One week earlier on May 13, Segriff graduated from Bergen Community College in Paramus, New Jersey, with an AA degree in Cinema Studies.
On Dec. 10, 2020, Segriff graduated from Hudson County Community College, earning an AA degree in Sociology. He graduated with high honors, Summa Cum Laude.
Segriff has earned 10 graduate degrees and seven undergraduate degrees. He also has now earned college degrees from 10 different colleges/universities.
Segriff is a 1974 graduate of Saranac Lake Central High School who has been living in New Jersey for the past 20 years. He works as a public-speaking professor at Montclair State University in Montclair, New Jersey.
